What Is Camp Electric?

Experience the FIRST Interactive Worship and Rock & Roll Music Camp!

Camp Electric brings together Christian musicians and teaches them band dynamics, the art of leading worship, and performance skills that are truly invaluable. But that’s just the beginning, they are able to do all of this while interacting with and learning from their favorite Christian artists.  Finally, there is a camp that allows teenage students the opportunity to jam with their favorite Christian bands. Can you imagine learning from the top players in the industry?   It has been proven over and over again that we learn best when we ACT on what we have been taught, not just hear ABOUT it. (INTERACTION is the key) At Camp Electric that’s the exact opportunity that you will be given, there are a lot of seminars out there; however Camp Electric saw a need for something different. For starters, there are no boring workshops. Everybody leaves challenged and excited to pursue the dreams that God has given them. Everything we do is designed to help spiritual growth and musical development.  Come enjoy a music experience like no other! In a laid back, fun learning environment you will develop your musical skills as you are grouped with other like minded musicians. You’ll learn from the players in today’s top Christian bands such as Terence Clark (drums, Gungor), Dave Wyatt (keys, TobyMac), Jeremy McCoy (bass, The Fray), Daniel Carson (lead guitar, Chris Tomlin) Dave Luetkenhoelter (bass, Kutless) Trevor McNevan (vocals, TFK) and more. You’ll also hear from some of the most experienced people in the Christian music industry, who will share the secrets of their success. Camp Electric’s strong commitment to Christian music gives aspiring musicians an opportunity to maximize their individual potential as well as to grow in their spiritual walk.  In addition Camp Electric's program stresses growth as an artist and also encourages the team building fundamentals to develop confidence in live performance.  Whether you’re looking for a pop/rock performance or an acoustic worship experience, Camp Electric is the place to get plugged in. This is where Christian musicians of all talent levels come together for one week to share, develop, grow and minister.

Fundraising Committment

Commitment to raise a minimum of $1,000 individually (or $1,500 with a partner, see below) for New Hope Academy.

PARTNER UP! Find a PARTNER, get them to sign UP, and we’ll reduce you and your partner’s guarantee to just $750 each.

Rules and Limitations:

In order to qualify for the PARTNER UP discount:

Each team member can only have 1 PARTNER and they must be reciprocal with each other.
Both PARTNERs must remain in the program past the opt out date of March 8, 2013.
Each PARTNER must attain his or her own fundraising minimum.
Individuals may sign up at any time and add their PARTNER at a later date, however, both PARTNERs must be registered and PARTNERed by March 8, 2013
If either PARTNER opts out, the remaining PARTNER’s minimum committment will be the original $1000.

Please carefully read the information about the fundraising commitment before you register.

Runners are responsible for:

Registration fee for the Country Music Marathon (You must register directly on the CMM website). Registration is $120 for the half-marathon.
Transportation to Nashville, ground transportation and lodging in Nashville during your stay.
Willingness to run or walk the Country Music 1/2 Marathon (or the 2.6 mile mini-marathon, or the full marathon) on April 27, 2013.
Fundraising commitment as detailed above.
